During the pandemic years, the quit rate in the US market reached a 20-year high and from here, the concept of “Great Resignation” was officially born.
According to a LinkedIn report, the “Great Reshuffle” in the employment sector saw 618,000 marketers leave their jobs by 2021.
In another study from LinkedIn, this trend will continue into 2022 with about 24% of marketers looking for a new job and 62% changing jobs altogether.

Also according to LinkedIn, as businesses increasingly focus on digital transformation, especially when Covid-19 has caused many businesses to completely change their business approach, Digital Marketing continuingly becoming more important and the high demand for Digital Marketers is also understandable.
Rise of Data Jobs
While Digital Marketing came in at 2nd place with 35% of the votes, Data Science skills ranked 1st with 76%. Other important skills are Data Management with 34% and governance with 34%.
